The council of Llanes, with near forty beaches, deserves a whole web section. Guadamia, Villanueva o Cuevas del Mar, with san Antonio are the first beaches of the council. All of them are well visited as La Huelga, or the sandy San Antolín, near to the road. All of them have thiny sand, are not very big, and have good services. Torimbia is the nicest of all, and from many years ago its a naked beach. The ones from Barro, Borizu and Las Cámaras, are visited by the influencial area of Celorio, and are more crowded, but offer white and thin sand, like the rest of Llanes beaches.
San Martín is an excellent one, less none. As we continue from west to east, we found Poo and Llanes village beaches: Sablón, lunar shaped; Puerto Chico; and Toró full of rocks as consequence of carstic formations. We dont have to forget the beautiful beaches of Cué, La Ballota and Andrín (at both sides of Boriza viewer) and Vidiago. In the council of Ribadedeva, which finish with the border of Cantabria, we can find the Franca beach, a sandy place with lots of services; one hotel and two campings. At low sea, entering from La Franca you can reach to a little beach called El Oso.
